Plymouth Miniature Steam at Goodwin Park, PL6 6RE

On the A 386 Plymouth to Tavistock road, turn west to Southway and head down Southway Drive.

Continue downhill until the Aldi store and Southway shopping centre is on your right. Turn off Southway Drive to the left on the painted roundabout at the end of the shopping centre and head down Pendeen Crescent, sign posted as ‘Nature Reserve’. The Goodwin Park sign is just before a left hand bend in the Crescent – turn right down the gravel track to the car parks.

Parking is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis.

BEWARE of the level crossing when you turn right to the main car park…
STOP and LOOK RIGHT to check it is clear to cross.
Trains are heavy and take longer and further to stop than cars. You want to avoid putting “Collision with miniature train” on your insurance claim! Trains have priority.

Please note that the narrow, low overbridge on the way to the club house, has a maximum height clearance of 1.8m (6ft).

Please be considerate of other motorists and pedestrians when entering and leaving. 

We request that you avoid parking on Pendeen Crescent as this is a residential road.
